We are ANOTHER SURF CAMP LDA, a company registered in Portugal under company number 514768487. Our tourism license is 68767/AL
At ANOTHER SURF CAMP, we believe the location and the people are the key factors for showing our guests a fantastic time.
We currently have surf camps in Baleal (Portugal), Cape Town (South Africa) and Somerset West (South Africa.
We are actively seeking for additional surf camps we can acquire.
Goncalo and Andreas, the founders of ANOTHER SURF CAMP, first met at a surf camp. Another one...
Over the course of a few months they developed an understanding, which led to discussions what should be different for their ideal surf holiday.
Most people have ideas. Some people realize their ideas. A few live their dreams!
Andreas is a founding partner in ANOTHER SURF CAMP. He is a serial entrepreneur and management consultant, who especially loves startup companies. Prior to getting into surfing, he built and raced offshore powerboats in the United States.
Goncalo is the second founding partner in ANOTHER SURF CAMP. He is a former professional surfer and has been a surf instructor at SURF ACADEMIA since 2012. Goncalo is currently finishing his PHD in Surf & Performance and is expecting his degree in the summer of 2018. You may then call him Professor ;-)
João is a co-founder of SURF ACADEMIA. He teaches for Surfing at the Universidade Lusófona on behalf of the Federação Portuguese de Surf. He is a competitor on the WSL Big Wave circuit, and divides his time between giving surf instructions and searching for the next big wave kick.
The unique, yet very different different experiences of the various team members allow ANOTHER SURF CAMP to provide a well rounded service, which is not only bound to make your stay enjoyable, but take your surfing to another level.
